INTERACTIVE DIGITAL KIOSK
In unfamiliar spaces, hesitation is failure.
A first-time visitor walks into AIG's Innovation Hub with no mental map of the building. Multiple floors, dozens of destinations, no obvious place to start. Traditional directories assume you already know where you're going, which breeds hesitation instead of confidence. The opportunity was to turn wayfinding into something that guided people from the moment they walked in.
THE CHALLENGE
Traditional wayfinding is static. Printed directories and maps present information but leave visitors to interpret it on their own. In a complex, multi-floor environment, that uncertainty slows navigation, interrupts exploration, and creates unnecessary friction.
The challenge wasn't adding more information; it was delivering the right information at the right moment.

INSIGHT
Wayfinding isn't about directions. It's about confidence. Visitors rarely get lost because the information is missing, they get lost because they're handed too much of it at once, or not enough when they need it. The experience had to guide people progressively, lowering cognitive load while keeping them oriented the whole way through.
SOLUTION
Designed an interactive touchscreen kiosk for AIG's Innovation Hub that transformed static navigation into a guided digital experience.
Built on Figma & Appspace, the kiosk combined building navigation, live maps, room booking, events, amenities, and local exploration into one intuitive interface. Rather than functioning as a digital directory, the experience adapted to how visitors naturally explored the space, making navigation feel simple, contextual, and approachable.
INTERACTION DESIGN
An interactive touchscreen kiosk that turned static navigation into something visitors could move through, not just read. Built in Figma and deployed on Appspace, it pulled building navigation, live maps, room booking, events, amenities, and local exploration into one interface. It didn't behave like a digital directory; it followed how people actually explore a space, so finding your way felt simple and contextual instead of like decoding a map.
IMPACT
Delivered a production-ready interactive kiosk for AIG's Innovation Hub during a 10-week internship. It turned static wayfinding into a guided experience built to help first-time visitors find their way with more confidence, while showcasing AIG's technology-forward workplace through a polished, ready-to-deploy installation.
