Donor Engagement Campaign

THE FISHING SCHOOL
DRAW TOMORROW

Statistics don't move donors.
A kid who wants to be an actress does.

Most fundraising asks donors to connect with a number. We asked them to connect with a child. Draw Tomorrow puts student dreams at the center of every touchpoint. "Hi, I am Marquel. I want to be a plumber," and turned giving into something personal instead of transactional.

THE CHALLENGE

The Fishing School needed to lift donor engagement while standing out in a crowded field of nonprofit fundraising. Its existing communications leaned hard on organizational wins and impact stats accurate, but they struggled to build any emotional connection with the people deciding whether to give.

INSIGHT

People don't donate to statistics. They donate to people. A percentage can explain impact, but it can't make anyone feel it. The most powerful asset the school already had wasn't its data, it was the students, and the dreams they were brave enough to put their names to.

SOLUTION

We moved the campaign off organizational messaging and handed the platform to the students. First-person storytelling, bold typography, and a single visual system let each child name a real dream and show donors exactly who their support could help become. From out-of-home to social to the donation flow, every touchpoint carried one line: you're backing a kid's future, not a nonprofit.

CAMPAIGN SYSTEM

Built as one integrated system across out-of-home, digital, social, environmental graphics, print, motion, and the donation experience. Every execution held the same idea, the same visual language, and the same student-first storytelling, including a STEAM-Fest environmental set that carried the identity into physical space.

IMPACT

The campaign raised $50,000+ for The Fishing School, lifted fundraising performance by ~20%, grew digital engagement 40%, and drove 12,000+ additional impressions. Past the numbers, it reset the school's fundraising around the people it serves a campaign donors could actually remember and feel.
